57-Year-Old Rene Diaz Killed In League City, TX DUI Accident

Norton charged with intoxication manslaughter

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, December 12 at around 2:30 AM in League City, Texas. 57-year-old Rene Diaz was sadly killed When his vehicle was struck by 35-year-old Jacqueline Norton. The accident occurred at the intersection of FM 646 and W. Walker St. While allegedly intoxicated, Ms. Norton ran a red light and broadsided Mr. Diaz‘s vehicle. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Ms. Norton has been charged with intoxication manslaughter in connection with the tragedy. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim
