58-Year-Old Gregory Netherton Injured In Burke, NC Accident

DUI wreck on Duckworth Circle

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, December 23rd in Burke, North Carolina. 58-year-old Gregory Netherton was seriously injured when his motorcycle was struck by an alleged drunk driver on Duckworth Circle from U.S. 64. Netherton was hit by a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Jacob McNabb as he was attempting to turn left. Netherton was airlifted to a hospital for treatment of his injuries. McNabb was charged with driving while impaired and failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim
