Tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday, June 30th in Toppenish, Washington. 58-year-old Manuel Degante-Hernandez was tragically killed in an alleged drunken-driving crash on U.S. 97. Reynel Enriquez-Ortega was operating a Chevrolet Malibu when he attempted to pass another vehicle and ended up striking a concrete barrier. Enriquez-Ortega failed a sobriety test and recorded a blood-alcohol reading nearly twice the state limit on a portable breath test. He was booked on suspicion of vehicular homicide.
