59-Year-Old Martin Contreras Killed In Lancaster, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on August 1st in Lancaster, California. 59-year-old Martin Contreras was killed in a hit-and-run collision on Sierra Highway. The victim was hit by a GMC Yukon that was traveling northbound, throwing him off his bike where he died at the scene. The GMC Yukon driver did not stop at the scene and their vehicle was later found abandoned.  Investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing, and anyone with information about this accident was urged to call officials at the Lancaster Sheriff's Station at 661-948-8466.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
