Authorities say the crash happened around 5:15 a.m. on the 3700 block of Bayshore Boulevard. One driver fled the scene but was later arrested and charged with hit-and-run causing death and vehicular manslaughter. Baez was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. A 35-year-old male driver remains hospitalized in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
