The tragic accident occurred on March 20 in Oakland, California, leaving Michelle Perez and her boyfriend’s 6-year-old son hospitalized with serious injuries. The crash happened in East Oakland at 105th Avenue and Pearmain Street.Authorities say Perez and the child were in a Toyota Corolla when a Lexus ran a stop sign and collided with their vehicle. The incident occurred shortly after a California Highway Patrol pursuit ended.Perez suffered multiple fractures, including four broken ribs and a fractured pelvis. The child underwent surgery for a skull fracture and internal bleeding. The investigation remains ongoing. We send our thoughts and pryers to the victims.
