60-Year-Old Alonso Rodriguez Injured In El Paso, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, September 10 at around 9 PM in El Paso, Texas. 60-year-old Alonso Rodriguez was seriously injured when he was struck by a hit and run motorist while crossing in the 8000 block of N. Mesa St. The vehicle was traveling in the center lane and fled the scene after striking the pedestrian. Rodriguez was transported to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 566-8477 (TIPS). We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
