Tragic accident that occurred on June 10 in Uniondale, New York. 60-year-old Eric Wheatley was charged with DUI in an accident when he hit a pedestrian along Front Street. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of critical injuries. Wheatley was arrested and charged with vehicular assault and driving while intoxicated.
