62-Year-Old John Washko Injured In Southbury, CT Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on December 25th in Southbury, Connecticut. 62-year-old John Washko was seriously injured in a motor vehicle collision on Interstate 84. State police determined the accident occurred near Exit 16 when a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer collided with the victim's 2016 Toyota 4Runner. The impact caused both vehicles to roll. Authorities have urged individuals with information about the crash to contact them at 203-267-2000 or via email at elidon.hoxhallari2@ct.gov. The victim was flown to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
