62-Year-Old Michael Elkins Killed in Maverick, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

A tragic accident occurred on April 10 in Maverick County, Texas, when 62-year-old Michael Charles Elkins of Hondo lost his life in a two-vehicle collision. The crash happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Farm-to-Market Road 481 when Elkins, driving a Chevrolet Blazer, collided with another Chevrolet. Elkins died at the scene from his injuries, while the other driver was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
