Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, September 7th in Kearny Mesa, California. 62-year-old Richard Nichols was tragically killed after he was struck by a Subaru while attempting to cross Clairemont Mesa Boulevard at Mercury Street. He was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where he tragically later died. Further information about what led up to the crash was not immediately available.
