64-Year-Old Alvin Minniefield Killed In Napa, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, March 15 at around 10 AM in Napa, California. 64-year-old Alvin Ray Minniefield was tragically killed when he was involved in a collision with an impaired driver on Highway 29. 30-year-old Philip Popick was traveling south when he crossed the centerline directly into the path of Mr. Minniefield’s vehicle. Sadly, Mr. Minniefield was pronounced dead at the scene. Mr. Popick was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center and was then later arrested on charges of felony DUI causing major injury. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
