Bicyclist struck at California Avenue and S Street

Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, January 4th in Bakersfield, California. 64-year-old Arnulfo Rodriguez was tragically killed when his bicycle was struck by a motorist at California Avenue and S Street in Bakersfield. Upon arriival, officers found the victim suffering from major injuries. Sadly, Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene. BPD is urging witnesses to call 661-327-7111.
