64-Year-Old Cathy Marks Killed In Mineola, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, March 27 at around 1:20 PM in Mineola, Texas. 64-year-old Cathy Marks was tragically killed when the vehicle she was a passenger in lost control after a tire separated from the  vehicle on US 69. Robert Marino was operating a Ford Explorer when the back left tire separated from the car and he lost control. The vehicle left the roadway and traveled into a ditch where it rolled over. Sadly Marks was pronounced dead at the scene. The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate the accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
