Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, September 5 at around 2:30 AM in Suffolk, New York. 64-year-old Ishmael Haughten was involved in an accident that seriously injured a pedestrian on New York Avenue. He was operating a Toyota Highlander traveling northbound when he struck a pedestrian who had stepped into the road. The pedestrian was seriously injured in the collision and taken to Brook University Hospital. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the victim
