Suspect arrested on 3 felonies
Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, December 22 at around 10:40 PM in Gardena California. 64-year-old Philip Barragan was tragically killed when his vehicle was struck by an under the influence driver fleeing police. The accident occurred at Artesia Boulevard and Western Avenue when police officers tried to stop a 19-year-old teen who fled westbound at a high rate of speed, colliding with Barraggan. The suspect was arrested on charges of suspicion of manslaughter, driving under the influence, and grand theft auto. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
