The victim was involved in a crash with his Toyota, leaving it disabled in the lane. That is when a Ford Fusion subsequently struck the disabled Toyota, and Arena who had stepped out of the car. Arena was then hit by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene. Anyone with any information on the tragic crash was urged to CHP’s Baldwin Park office at 626-338-1164.
