64-Year-Old Tony Smith Injured In Moniteau, MO Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on May 16th in Moniteau, Missouri. 64-year-old Tony Smith was seriously injured in a fiery collision between his tractor-trailer and an SUV along Highway 50. A 2009 Chevrolet HHR SUV crossed the center and collided with Smith's 2008 Kenworth tractor-trailer. Both vehicles became engulfed in flames. Smith suffered serious injuries and was transported to SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital for treatment. The crash remains under investigation by MSHP.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
