65-Year-Old Mill Sarmiento Killed In Everett, WA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on February 19th in Everett, Washington. 65-year-old Mila Sarmiento was tragically killed after being struck by a wrong-way driver, who was also suspected of driving under the influence on Interstate-5. Preliminary info is that Sarmiento was in a Volkswagen Beetle driving south when a car — traveling northbound in the southbound lanes — crashed into them, triggering a collision. The victim suffered fatal injuries and tragically died at the scene. The driver of the wrong-way vehicle, a 22-year-old Everett man, was arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular homicide.
