66-Year-Old Hillary Day Injured In Central Islip, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on October 12 in Central Islip, New York. 66-year-old Hillary Day was seriously injured when she was struck by a hit-and-run motorist along West Suffolk Avenue. Day was badly hurt and taken to South Shore University Hospital for treatment. The driver involved fled the scene in what authorities suspect is a gold sedan. An investigation into the incident is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
