66-Year-Old James Wright Killed In Rome, GA Accident

Pedestrian struck on North Broad St.

Tragic accident that occurred on July 31st in Rome, Georgia. 66-year-old James Wright was fatally struck by two vehicles while crossing North Broad Street. Wright was rushed to Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries. He was the 10th person to die on Rome/Floyd County roads this year.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
