66-Year-Old Kathleen Jackson Killed In Sumter, SC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

 Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, January 28 in Sumter, South Carolina. 66-year-old Kathleen Jackson lost her life in a two-vehicle accident at St. Paul Church Road and Dorsey Drive.  A 2004 Honda Civic sedan, driven by Jackson, was attempting to turn left when she was struck by a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe.  Jackson was transported to Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital where she tragically later died. The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Sumter County Coroner's Office. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
