67-Year-Old Frank Amendola Killed In Montgomery, IL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on September 22 in Montgomery, Illinois. 67-year-old Frank Amendola lost his life in a two-vehicle accident along Interstate 55 when he collided with another motorist. Amendola was rushed to HSHS St. John's Hospital where he sadly succumbed to his injuries. Additional details on the circumstances that led to the crash were not immediately known. State police continue to investigate the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
