67-Year-Old John Skowronek Killed In Nevada, CA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, September 13th in Nevada, California. 67-year-old John Skowronek was tragically killed in a head-on crash with a driver suspected to be under the influence of a controlled substance on Interstate 80. The victim was traveling in a vehicle that was struck by 44-year-old Sarah Lupyak. Skowronek was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Lupyak is facing at least one felony charge of driving while under the influence of a controlled substance. The crash remains under investigation by the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office.
