69-Year-Old Susan Gray Killed In Lubbock, TX AccidentThe accident remains under investigationPosted: 4 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on Thursday, February 4th at around 11:20 a.m. in Lubbock, Texas. 69-year-old Susan Gray was sadly killed in a major two vehicle crash on Erksine Street. Ms. Gray was traveling in a BMW sedan eastbound and slowed down to make a left hand turn into a driveway. That is when an eastbound GMC truck, driven by 41-year-old Abel Rangel, traveling at a high rate of speed, attempted to pass Ms. Gray. He ran a stop sign and struck her BMW, forcing it into a building, and the GMC into a signal light pole. Both drivers were sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
