70-Year-Old Jerry Hood Killed In Atlanta, GA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on February 14th in Atlanta, Georgia. 70-year-old Jerry Hood sadly died after being struck by a garbage truck in the 2200 block of Campbellton Road. The truck was operated by Christopher Gunn who was charged with second-degree vehicular homicide and failure to yield while entering a roadway. Hood, who had four daughters, is being remembered as a family man who had a great sense of humor. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
