70-Year-Old Robert Gerstenkorn Killed In Johnson, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on December 31 at around 4 PM in Johnson Texas. 70-year-old Robert Gerstenkorn was tragically killed in a head-on crash on FM 2280.
The accident occurred when 40-year-old Heather Howerton was driving a Cadillac south, and for undetermined reasons drove into the northbound lanes striking the pick up head on. The collision caused the vehicle to end up in the north ditch. 67-year-old Sherry Gerstenkorn, a passenger in the pick up, was taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital for treatment. Robert Gerstenkorn sadly died at the hospital. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families
