70-Year-Old Tommy Tingley Injured In Champaign, IL Accident

Head on collision on Illinois Route 130

Tragic accident that occurred on April 29th in Champaign, Illinois. 70-year-old Tommy Tingley was injured when the truck that he was operating was struck head-on by another driver on Illinois Route 130. A truck operated by a 39-year-old man attempted to pass another northbound vehicle, colliding with Tingley’s International truck. The force of the collision caused the International truck to overturn in the southbound lanes. Tingley was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. The driver of the truck that struck him was charged with improper lane usage. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
