71-Year-Old Mario Lucero Killed In Valley Center, CA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on December 17 in Valley Center, California. 71-year-old bicycle rider Mario Lucero died when his bicycle was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Cole Grade Road near Valley Center Road. The driver fled without rendering aid. Lucero succumbed to injuries from the crash. Witnesses are urged to contact CHP at 760-643-3400. The accident remains under investigation.
