73-Year-Old Delores Rhoden Killed In Marietta, CA Accident

Fatal pedestrian crash on Monroe Avenue

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, February 7th at approximately 7:20 a.m. in Murrieta, California. 73-year-old Delores Jenkins-Rhoden was killed after being struck by a motorist in the No. 2 lane of Monroe Avenue, a short distance south of Sunflower Road. The victim was transported to Wildomar's Inland Valley Medical Center where she sadly passed away. Deputies said the male driver remained at the scene of the crash to cooperate with officers. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
