73-Year-Old John Lee Killed In St. Petersburg, FL Accident

The accident remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, March 6th in St. Petersburg, Florida. 73-year-old John David Lee was sadly killed when his bicycle was struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection of 15th Ave., South and 34th St., South. Mr. Lee was crossing at the north side of the intersection when he was struck by a Ford Explorer driven by 49-year-old Desmond Blue. Mr. Lee was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where, sadly, he passed away. The accident remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
