McDade was tragically killed in a head-on accident when his vehicle was hit by an unidentified 21-year-old woman. The woman was driving southbound on Larkin Avenue approaching Douglas Street when she lost control and traveled into the northbound lanes. Then, she collided with McDade’s vehicle, injuring him and his 72-year-old female passenger. McDade was rushed to AMITA St. Joseph Medical Center, where he sadly later died.
