75-Year-Old John Regan Killed In Auburn, AL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on November 13 in Auburn, Alabama. 75-year-old John Regan sadly died in a crash caused by a wrong-way driver on Interstate 85. Regan was a passenger in a vehicle that had to maneuver in between two semi-trucks to miss the driver traveling in the wrong direction but still crashed. Regan was taken to Piedmont Columbus Regional, where he died. It was not immediately clear why the driver was traveling the wrong way.  The collision remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
