80-Year-Old Lorna Thompson Injured In Elk Township, MN Accident

Collision along 160th St. and US Route 59

Tragic accident that occurred on June 4th in Elk Township, Minnesota. 80-year-old Lorna Leanne Thompson was injured when her vehicle was struck by a semi-truck on 160th Street and US Route 59. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Thompson was driving a Honda Fit when it collided with the Peterbilt tractor-trailer. Thompson was taken to Sanford Worthington Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
