80-Year-Old Qaneta Zaafar Killed In E. Amwell, NJ Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday, December 8th at around 12:30 PM in E. Amwell, New Jersey. 80-year-old Qaneta Zaafar was tragically killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer driver, who veered into her lane along Route 31 and crashed into her car. The tragic accident occurred when the big rig crossed from the northbound lane into the southbound lane near milepost 15. The rig then collided with the car driven by the victim. State Police have launched an investigation into the crash, and no additional details were made available. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
