81-Year-Old Carol Deangelo Killed In Lee, AL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on June 29 in Lee, Alabama. 81-year-old Carol Deangelo died in a solo-vehicle accident when a 2006 Jeep Cherokee was traveling on U.S. Highway 280 and left the roadway. It subsequently went into a ditch and then struck a tree. Passenger Carol L. Deangelo was pronounced dead at the scene. ALEA continues to investigate the cause of the accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
