85-Year-Old Marvin Bledsoe Killed In Surry, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, March 22 at around 6:10 AM in Surry, North Carolina. 85-year-old Marvin Bledsoe was tragically killed when his vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer on US 52 near Pilot Mountain. Harry Holyfield was the operator of the semi truck that struck the victim. Bledsoe tragically died from injuries sustained in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the North Carolina Highway Patrol. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
