86-Year-Old Sara Smedley Killed In Prattville, AL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occured on Friday May 14th at about 2:42 p.m in Prattville, Alabama. 86-year-old Sara Smedley was tragically killed when the vehicle that she was a passenger in was struck by an SUV that crossed into oncoming traffic on Highway 14. The victim was traveling in a Nissan Versa that was hit by another Nissan driven by 47-year-old Angela Renea Hagans. Authorities reported that Hagans crossed over and hit the Versa. After hitting the Versa, Hagans then struck a Kia Soul. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
