87-Year-Old Beverly Sweeney Killed In Discovery Bay, CA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on November 17 in Discovery Bay, California. 87-year-old Beverly Sweeney died when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver near Newport Drive. The driver fled without rendering aid or reporting the crash. Sweeney was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses are urged to contact officers at 320investigations@chp.ca.gov or 925-646-4980.
