9-Year-Old Layla Lemas Killed In San Jose, CA Accident

Victim was hit near Santee and MacQuesten Drive

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, December 31 at around 11:15 AM in San Jose California. Nine-year-old Layla Lemas was killed when she was hit by a vehicle while riding an electric bike near Santee and MacQuesten Drive. Layla was riding the bike behind Santee elementary school when a driver of a GMC Sierra entering the driveway of an apartment complex hit the young victim. Layla sadly died at the local hospital. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of this tragically young victim.
