93-Year-Old Petra Zamorano Killed In El Paso, TX Accident

The accident remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, March 7 at around 6:30 PM in El Paso, Texas. 93-year-old Petra Zamorano was sadly killed after she was struck by two cars at Troy Avenue and Alameda Avenue. The motorist of a silver PT cruiser, who fatally struck the pedestrian, fled the scene and remains at large. The second driver reportedly stopped and cooperated with investigators. Anyone who has any information about the fleeing vehicle is urged to call Special Traffic Investigators at 915-832-4400 or Crime Stoppers at 915-566-8477 to provide an anonymous tip. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
