Aaron Hernandez Killed In Austin, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on April 12 in Austin, Texas. Aaron Hernandez was fatally struck by a suspected DWI driver along East Riverside Drive and Lakeshore Boulevard. The driver was charged with an accident involving death and a DWI. Tragically, Hernandez died at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash. Anyone with information about the case was urged to contact APD's Vehicular Homicide Unit at 512-974-8111. Authorities continue to investigate the case. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
