Alex Rivera Arrested In Avon, CT Accident

Bicyclist struck at Arch Rd. and Security Dr.

Tragic accident that occurred on October 4 in Avon, Connecticut. Alex Rivera was arrested after he allegedly struck and injured a juvenile riding a bicycle near Arch Road and Security Drive. The victim was later found near Harris Road and taken to Hartford Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The driver involved fled the scene but a suspect, 27-year-old Alex, was identified and arrested. He was charged with first-degree endangerment, evading responsibility causing serious physical injury, operating a vehicle without a license, and two counts of risk of injury to a child.
