A pedestrian was tragically struck and killed in a hit-and-run by Alexander Cole Edwards. The unidentified victim was walking on the shoulder of General Robert M. Bond Boulevard when they were hit by a Toyota RAV 4. Edwards fled the scene but was arrested and the pedestrian died at Fort Walton/ Destin Hospital.
