Angela Thomas lost her life in a three-vehicle head-on accident involving an alleged impaired driver, 30-year-old Travis Greene, who was speeding along South Reilly Road. The wreck occurred when he crashed into the rear of a 2016 Jeep Wrangler, traveled across the median, and slammed head-on into a 2005 Chrysler 300. Angela Thomas was a front seat passenger in the Chrysler and was rushed to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where she sadly succumbed to her injuries. Police say Greene was under the influence of an unknown substance at the time of the crash and are expecting charges to be filed soon.
