Ashlee Taylor and her two-year-old daughter were seriously injured when they were struck by a motorist after running out of gas along Roosevelt Boulevard. Ashlee stopped in the right lane with emergency flashers activated. She and her daughter crossed the street to a fueling station. As Taylor and the child crossed back toward their vehicle, they were struck by a car in the center lane. Taylor and her child remain in the hospital a week after the crash.
