Benedicto Lopez-Ramirez Injured In E. Farmingdale, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

 Traffic accident that occurred on May 25th in E. Farmingdale, New York. 41-year-old Benedicto Lopez-Ramirez sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Route 110 when he tried to cross the road and was struck by a white sedan. The police said that the unidentified sedan driver was eastbound on Main street, turned right onto southbound Route 110, and continued driving south after hitting the pedestrian. The Farmingdale man was flown to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries. Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver, and anyone with information about the incident is urged to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
