Carrie Rivero Killed In Columbia Heights, MN Accident

Crash at Central Ave and 39th Ave NE

Tragic accident that occurred on July 13 in Columbia Heights, Minnesota. Carrie Lynn Rivero died in a pedestrian crash caused by a BMW driver at Central Avenue and 39th Avenue Northeast. Rivero was on a sidewalk when she was struck by a BMW convertible. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver was booked into the Anoka County Jail on suspicion of criminal vehicular homicide and criminal vehicular operation causing great bodily harm while under the influence of alcohol.
