Casey Rivara Killed In Rocklin, CA Accident

Crash at Park Drive and Stanford Ranch Blvd

Tragic accident that occurred on May 18 in Rocklin, California. Casey Rivara lost his life when he was struck by a motorist as he helped a family of duckilings cross the road near Park Drive and Stanford Ranch Boulevard. Just as the animals had finished crossing, Rivara was struck by a westbound vehicle. Casey succumbed to injuries before he could be taken to the hospital. The driver remained at the scene to cooperate and no charges were immediately filed.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
