Charles Haskell Involved In Kenly, NC Accident

Multi vehicle accident along I-95

Tragic accident that occurred on July 24 in Kenly, North Carolina. Charles Haskell was involved in a multi-vehicle along Interstate 95 when he failed to reduce speed to slow traffic. His tractor-trailer crashed into a Chevrolet Tahoe and then continued, hitting three more vehicles; a Toyota RAV4 and two other tractor-trailers. The impact caused the first tractor-trailer to catch fire and become engulfed. He was later arrested on suspicion of five counts of misdemeanor death by motor vehicle. He was booked into the Wilson County Detention Center. 5 people were killed, and two others injured. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims.
